The Zoetis Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment can be used to treat certain eye infections in pets. Depending on the strain that's causing the infection, Terramycin may be prescribed for conjunctivitis, pink eye, corneal ulcers and more. This eye ointment is applied topically and is FDA approved for use in horses, cats and dogs. Available by prescription only.
Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment can be used to treat gram-negative and gram-positive cause infections that are anaerobic and aerobic in nature, larger viruses, rickettsiae, and spirochetes.
Special Precautions
It is possible for occasional allergic reactions to this medication. Discontinue treatment if your pet experiences a severe reaction.

If overdose contact your nearest pet hospital immediately.
Side Effects
There is no expectation of side effects of a serious nature. Application may have some stinging. There is the possibility in cats of a potentially fatal reaction due to an allergy. If your cat experiences difficulty breathing, facial swelling, or itching, call your local emergency room or veterinarian immediately. Always talk to your pet's veterinarian regarding any negative side effects your pet may experience.

Store in a dry and cool environment. Do not exceed 25°C (77°F).
